Why a new company

Being new isn't a risk we're hiding from. It's the pitch.

Calgary has plenty of epoxy installers with fifteen-plus years behind them. Here's what a small, brand-new shop can actually do better.

01

Small batch by design

We take on a limited number of jobs a month, not a full calendar of back-to-back crews. That means more prep time, more care, and a slower, closer look at your slab before anything gets rolled on.

02

The quote-giver is the installer

At most shops, the person who sells you the job isn't the person kneeling on your garage floor. Here it's the same person, so nothing gets lost between the estimate and the install.

03

Reputation has to be earned, fast

A first-year business lives or dies on referrals. That's a direct incentive to over-deliver on every single floor, document everything, and never cut a prep step to save time.

04

Evening & weekend availability

Quotes and consultations outside the 9-to-5, without waiting in a call queue — useful if you're booking this around your own work schedule too.

How it works

Four steps, from first call to cured floor.

STEP 01

Free on-site assessment

We measure, check the slab for cracks and moisture, and give you a written flat-rate quote before we leave.

STEP 02

Prep & scheduling

Grinding, crack repair and (for basements) moisture mitigation happen before a drop of epoxy goes down.

STEP 03

Install day

Most garage floors are walkable same-day with polyaspartic systems and fully cured within about a week.

STEP 04

Walkthrough & warranty

We inspect the finish together and hand over your written warranty and care instructions.

Materials

We'll tell you exactly what's going into your floor.

Every system starts with a basecoat, gets a broadcast flake or metallic layer, and finishes with a chemically-resistant topcoat. We source from Chemtec Resin Supply, who supply and train installers across Alberta — including a Calgary branch.

01 · Basecoat

Epoxy primer & base layer

A 100%-solids epoxy base bonds to the prepped concrete and gives the flake or colour layer something to grip. This is the step that gets skipped when a floor peels in year two — it doesn't get skipped here.

02 · Broadcast layer

Flake & metallic finishes

Vinyl flake blends or metallic pigments broadcast into the wet base coat for texture, slip resistance, and colour — the gallery below shows the main finish families.

03 · Topcoat

87%-solids polyaspartic

An aliphatic polyaspartic topcoat seals the floor — UV-stable so it won't yellow in a sun-facing garage, chemical- and abrasion-resistant, cured fast enough for a same-day walkable floor.

Questions

Before you ask, we'll tell you.

Can you install in a Calgary winter? +

Epoxy and polyaspartic coatings need a minimum surface and air temperature to cure properly, so unheated garages in deep winter can push a job into spring. We check the forecast and your garage's heating before booking a date, and we'll tell you honestly if it's not the right week.

Do basements need a permit or moisture test? +

Calgary's clay-heavy soil and high water table mean basement slabs often carry more moisture than they look like they do. We test before quoting, and larger below-grade jobs may need a City of Calgary permit — we'll flag that during the assessment, not after you've paid a deposit.

How long until I can park in the garage? +

Polyaspartic systems are typically walkable within hours and ready for light vehicle traffic in 24–72 hours. Full chemical cure — for hot tires and heavy use — takes about a week.

What's the warranty? +

Every job comes with a written adhesion and wear warranty at the time of your quote. Terms depend on the system you choose — we'll walk through the exact coverage before you book.

Do I need to empty the garage myself? +

Yes — the space needs to be fully cleared before prep day. If you need a hand planning around that (storage pod, timing around a driveway park-out), we're happy to help you plan the week.
